When was the last time you did something dangerous?

The last time was last weekend! Saturday, April 21st!
My friends and I had spent a day on the other side of the island, and decided to go back to our side to get dinner and check out something at Borders. I suggested we take Saddle Road to save some time.
Saddle Road is a winding road that connects one side of the island to the other and only takes about an hour and a half to drive, whereas going around the other way would take about three hours or so. It's full of blind turns and dips and the road was once a one-lane road, which was converted into a two-lane road some years ago. This means that the center of the two-lane road is nice and smooth, while the edges of each are pot-holed and very bumpy. They recently started construction to fix this, and so there are strips of smooth road here and there, as well of strips of pure gravel with no reflectors and a wall of traffic cones to tell the driver where the edge of the road is. It can get really confusing!
Anyway, I was feeling pretty confident about the drive, but my friend, who was driving, wasn't feeling as confident. When you start off from the side that we started, there are a lot of hills that you climb that seem to suddenly drop away like a roller coaster. Those were pretty fun!
Halfway through, the sun went down completely and there was fog everywhere. There'd been patches of fog here and there, but nothing too bad. We suddenly entered an area that was filled with fog, and my friend turned on her highlights (which only succeeded in bouncing the light off the clouds and back at us).
She kept gaining speed, reaching 70 mph at some parts, and I kept reminding her to slow down.
We got to the main construction area, and it was hard to tell where to turn. We made it out, when suddenly there was nothing in front of us. We screamed and laughed hysterically as the car dropped down into a dip on the gravelly road.
It was AWESOME. My friend (who'd been driving) said that one of her co-workers said that the roads get icy, and that it's a bad road to take at night.
I'm not afraid though. As long as I keep my speed down, I should be fine...
If I ever have to drive that road, anyway.
I've only driven it a few times. I'd like to drive it more, since I like the sections of the road that slink back and forth.
